I am Woman.
I am an animal lover, minor league geek, bookworm, Marvel fan, science nut, wife, mom, Ulti-WAG, survivor, baker. Back in 2007, when Facebook became a thing, it asked me to describe myself and I typed “I am many things, if you let me be” I believe that still holds true.
I am a fierce believer in equality and equity and if you could be a fly on the wall in our home, you would hear far too many rants on parental equality. I am also passionate about animals and nature in general. If my husband let me, we would have a zoo. As things stand, we have 5 children – two tabby rescue cats, one rescue dog and two human baboon children.
I am honest to a fault and I struggle with tact. I also struggle with willful stupidity and bad pet parents. Three times a week, you will find me herding kids on the side of an Ultimate field and in the rest of my pretend spare time, I enjoy cake decorating.
This blog is a space where I make sense of the chaos and change that make up life.
